Inverter upgrade from 3kva to 5kva and 9 nos. of 550W Solar Panels
We did a system upgrade for this Client in Oniru, Lagos in December 2024. We upgraded his old inverter and battery only system to a solar system. The inverter was upgraded from 3kva to 5kva and 9 no. 550W solar panels were installed but we retained his old tubular batteries.
He called us after a couple of months to upgrade from the tubular batteries to a 15kwh lithium battery. This one battery provides over 50% more energy storage capacity compared to the old tubular batteries and it comes with a 5-year warranty.

This is an installation done for a school in the Chevron area of Lekki area in Lagos.
It comprises of a 8kva Hybrid Inverter, 10kwh Lithium battery, 9 no. 550w panels, totally a 4950w solar panel capacity.
This system is designed and installed to power, up to 20 work stations, 10 standing fans, lighting sockets to power TVs, projectors and other audio visual devices to be used at the school. This system will power these devices comfortable for 6-8hrs during and will save the customer significant cost on their utilities and running of generator set.

Here we have an installation done for an office location at the Tafawa Balewa area of Lagos Island. This is for one of our clients, the front office of a furniture maker.
It comprises of a 5kva Hybrid Inverter, 5kwh Lithium battery, 6 no. 400w panels, totally a 2400w solar panel capacity.
This was an exciting job as the customer just moved into the location and we had to work around their office set up. This system is designed and installed to power, 5 work stations, 2-3 standing fans, lighting sockets to power kettle and microwave. There is also a future need for a 1.5 horse power AC which can be powered by the Solar setup.

This installation of solar powered streetlights was done for an estate in Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The existing electrically powered streetlights were removed and replaced with all-in-one solar powered streetlights.
A total of 15 no. were installed in this first phase of the project. As the estate is being further developed, more of these streetlights will be installed.

This customer in Ikoyi, Lagos, noticed that the production of his solar panels had reduced over the last few weeks.
Via the mobile app, we checked the historical data and confirmed that the system was producing a lot less than it should. On some days, it was 50% less than expected.
Lagos experiences harmattan in December and January and the dust from the harmattan settles on solar panels causing them to produce less. The client has a flat roof, which makes the effect of dust settlement worse.
We arranged a day to clean the panels, and we immediately saw a marked improvement in solar production. Solar panel cleaning is one of the services we offer as part of our one-year free maintenance.

This is an installation done for a house within an estate in Ikoyi, Lagos.
It comprises of an 8kva hybrid inverter, 15kwh lithium battery and 9 no. 550W solar panels with a total capacity of 4,950W of solar panels.
This system is designed and installed to power all the lights, fans, appliances such as fridge, freezer, electric kettle, TV’s, washing machine, microwave oven and 2 no. air conditioners.
Because the estate provides 24-hour power to all residents through a mix of public power and generator, we programmed the system to use solar as the primary source of electricity. If solar alone is not able to meet the load requirements, the battery will support. The grid/generator is only used to power the loads when the battery drops to 15% state of charge. Once the battery is charged back up to 50%, the grid/generator is disconnected from the system and solar/battery takes over.
This will enable the Client to save about 50% on his utility bills and the see a return on his investment is less than 3 years.

This installation was done for a country home that is being converted to a training center for youths in Irawo Owode, Oyo State.
It consists of 2 no. 8kva hybrid inverters, 2 no. 17.5 kwh lithium batteries and 36 no. 550w solar panels.
This system will power all the lights, desktop computers, laptop computers, projects, routers that will be used in the center. It will also power up to 4 no. inverter air conditioners at the same time and the pumping machine.
The center is not connected to grid and there is no backup generator on site, so this system will be the only source of power supply for now. The Client may install a backup diesel generator later or he may choose to expand the solar system.
18 no. solar powered floodlights were also installed around the perimeter of the building to keep the compound illuminated at night.

This installation for an office in Lekki Phase 1 consists of a 2 no. 8kva hybrid inverters, 32 no. 555w solar panels and 3 no. 17.5kwh lithium batteries.
This system powers all the lights, laptops, desktop computers, modems, servers, refrigerators and other appliances as well as 6 no. air conditioners.
The customer is on Band A tariff, so in order to see a return on their investment, solar is the primary source of power. If solar alone is not enough to power the loads, the batteries will support. The system only switches to grid power when the batteries are at 15% state of charge. The grid charges the batteries back to 50% before it disconnects.
The mode of operation is expected to reduce their utility and diesel consumption by over 70% and give them a return on investment in about 4 years.
